Skiing & Snowboarding

Mont Blanc skiing and snowboarding - ChamonixPeople travel from all over the world to ski and snowboard in the wonderful Mount Blanc snow. The main areas are Le Brevent and La Flegere, Domaine de Balme, Les Grand Montets, La Vallée Blanche and Les Houches.

Le Breventand and La Flegere have runs that range from the moderate to the difficult, so it offers possibilities to skiers and snowboarders of varying levels of ability. Close to Chamonix town centre.

Domaine de Balme was formerly known as Le Tour & Vallorcine. It is one of the easier places to ski and snowboard and is therefore highly suitable for beginners, and is an excellent place to learn.

Les Grand Montets caters to mixed abilities and while those with limited skills can challenge themselves here, this popular area is enjoyed by experienced skiers and snowboarders.

La Vallée Blanche is a famous off-piste run that should not be taken lightly and is not really recommended to the inexperienced. But if you are a competent skier or snowboarder this is something you may not want to miss.

Les Houches offers amazingly picturesque skiing on stunning pine and larch tree lined slopes. Again this area has something to offer skiers and snowboarders of a wide range of abilities.
